Queens Cross Factoring Ltd is a property factoring company based in the north west area of Glasgow.  We are a registered property factor (registration number PF000258). We provide a common repair and general property maintenance service to approximately 2,400 owners.  

We are a wholly owned subsidiary of
Queens Cross Housing Association. We commenced trading in April 2005, when the existing factoring business was transferred over as a result of the Housing Association’s decision to obtain charitable status.
 
We are registered company, limited by guarantee and managed by a voluntary
Board of Directors, composed of five directors.  Three are drawn from Queens Cross Housing Association’s Board of Management and two are independent Directors. Currently there is a vacancy for an independent Director.  

Staff are employed by Queens Cross Housing Association to work on the factoring business through a service level agreement.

Home Owner Housing Panel Changes to the Home Owner Housing Panel - The Home Owner Housing Panel was established by the Property Factors (Scotland) Act 2011 and one of its functions is to determine applications from homeowners who consider that their property factor has failed to carry out their factory duties or failed to comply with the Property Factors' Code of Conduct. As of 1st December 2016 the Home Owner Housing Panel will transfer into the First-tier Tribunal for Scotland and Property Chamber (FTT) as of 1st December. Their new address is: First-tier Tribunal for Scotland Housing and Property Chamber, Scottish Courts and Tribunal Service, 4th Floor, 1 Atlantic Quay, 45 Robertson Street, Glasgow G2 8JB.
